Dr. Zhou serves as Investment Manager at Lifespan Investments. With over 20 years of experience in research, drug discovery, and project management, Dr. Zhou joined Lifespan Investments in 2020 to lead the operational responsibility for the effective scouting of potential biotech investment opportunities. Previously, Dr. Zhou worked as a Principal at AcuraStem to lead the neuroscience discovery programs. Prior to that, Dr. Zhou was a Senior Staff at New York Stem Cell Foundation to build up pluripotent and functional stem cell systems to establish disease modeling and drug screening platforms. Dr. Zhou completed her Ph.D. in Cell Biology at Hong Kong University and postdoctoral training in Stem Cell at The Scripps Research Institute.
